Journal PRO BONO LAW REVIEW focuses on the publication of community service activities based on legal scholarship and oriented toward solving legal problems within society.
Scope
The scope of studies includes, but is not limited to:
- Legal counseling and legal education for the community
- Legal aid and community assistance
- Community-based legal empowerment
- Strengthening access to justice
- Legal clinics and community service–based moot court practices
- Community-based restorative justice
- Mediation and alternative dispute resolution
- Community service–based public policy advocacy
- Digital legal literacy
- Crime prevention through legal education
- Strengthening legal awareness in rural and regional communities
- Legal community service in gender issues and the protection of vulnerable groups
- Legal community service in environmental law and indigenous peoples’ rights
- Research-based legal community service models
- Evaluation and impact of legal community service programs
Accepted articles are systematic reports of community service activities based on clear methodology, including impact analysis and tangible contributions to society.
The structure of a community service article should at minimum include:
- Introduction (background of the partner/community problem)
- Implementation method
- Results and impact of the activities
- Evaluation and program sustainability
- Conclusion
